LoginID and ASLI RI form ground-breaking Biometric Security Partnership to Support the Indonesian Market

ASLI RI will integrate LoginID’s FIDO2 server certified Strong Customer Authentication platform providing Indonesian customers with secure, biometric logins

Jakarta, Indonesia, February 26, 2020. - LoginID Inc. and PT Asli Rancangan Indonesia (ASLI RI) have announced a partnership for the Indonesian market toprovideASLI RI Enterprise clients an additional form of secure, FIDO2 server certified biometric login for their customers. By integrating LoginID’s strong customer authentication platform, ASLI RI and its Enterprise clients can now eliminate the dependency on weak logins and passwords to protect customer accounts or information.

According to the Verizon 2019 Data Breach Investigation Report, 80% of hacking related breaches involve compromised or weak credentials, with 29% of all breaches, (regardless of attack) involve the use of stolen credentials.

The LoginID FIDO2 certified platform utilizes cryptographic security based on the customer’s device hardware. Because it works right out of the box, no additional hardware or downloadable software is required by customers. The customer experience is simple and intuitive, with a ‘biometric’ button displayed, where customers can use a fingerprint scanner on their device to login to an application or website. Customers won’t have to remember passwords or use less secure forms of logging in.
