Support for FIDO Device Onboarding is a new component in LoginID’s mission to secure Internet experiences and protect privacy through industry standards.

San Mateo, CA, July 12, 2021. - LoginID, a FIDO-certified authentication and identity solution provider, announced deployment of the first FDO (FIDO Device Onboarding) Rendezvous Server. This service is intended for early developers to experiment with the recently released FDO Proposed Standard from the FIDO Alliance. FDO will play a key role in helping secure IoT devices, which is forecast to exceed 30B devices in 2025 according to Statista.

FDO is designed to provide end to end security of the IoT ecosystem. The LoginID Rendezvous Server will work with both the LoginID provided onboarding service and other FDO services.
