The user fingerprint or other biometric is encrypted and
stored on the device. LoginID does not have access to this
information.
Facial scanning is one of the biometric methods supported by
the FIDO2 standard. FIDO2 certified devices cannot be
compromised in this regard.
LoginID provides the capability to add another device as a
backup. If a User has not added a backup, and a device is
lost, the User will need to register their biometric again on
the merchant/application/website.
